My System Specs

Default Advanced Clock Control...?

Can someone help me understand the 'Advanced Clock Contol' options?

CPU Clock Drive [ 800mV]
PCI Express Clock Drive [ 900mV]
CPU Clock Skew [ 0ps]
IOH Clock Skew [ 0ps]

What do these things mean/do?
I've seen others using different numbers, but can't get a good answer as to why.

As I've always understood it, the clock skew is for higher frequencies, when things are going so fast that the signal transmission time actually begins to become a significant factor, and makes it difficult for the various functions to stay in synch with each other. Skewing the clocks (in relation to each other) just slightly helps keep them in-synch with each other.

I've seen people using

CPU Clock Drive [ 700mV]
PCI Express Clock Drive [ 700mV]

for overclocks as low as 3.8 - 4GHz.

Why would that be beneficial?
