I gave up on the 680i Striker Extreme. It just wasn't playing nice with overclocking at all.
I went back to the P5K-Deluxe. The only downside to this is the fact I'm locked to Seagate HDD's and PCI-e 1.0 specs
Based upon 3.0Charlie's advice, I just jacked my vCore to 1.425, P35 volts to 1.3 (I think stock was 1.2) and set the FSB to 400, ram auto'd to 4:5 at 1000mhz (stock volts 5-5-5-15 800mhz). She posted at 3.6ghz and is currently 5 hours prime stable right from the get go with no further tweaking.

I'll start raising the FSB, and try to keep the vCore the same, tomorrow, after a good 12+hours prime stable. Atleast I'll know its rock-solid at 3.6ghz if I cant hit 3.8.
If it doesnt, I'm VERY happy with the extra 200mhz, but Id like to push for that magic 3.8 number

. Its a 1.2vid chip, so I might be lucky. Temps will be my only bane, I think.
Speaking of temps: They are a bit wonky, or at least I think... Goes from as low as 54c up to 60c (max, hasn't crested above 60) while prime95 is running. Is it normal for watercooling to bounce when you start to overclock this high?
