Default SuperPi thread usage

I'm assuming that Super Pi mod is multithreaded, but how many threads can it use?

I just fired up a dual quad AMD and for some reason it's only pinning one CPU.
It's under 2k3 64bit.

(Decided to post new thread since I didn't want to pollute the benchmark thread)

Unless something has changed I'm pretty sure it's not multithreaded, but an OS like XP makes it look like it is by spreading the work to each core. (Otherwise we'd seem 100% usage on all cores and I've never seen that).

wPime is a good benchmark that runs on every core. 3DMark06 is also multithreaded. There is also a program (HyperPi I think) that just runs one instance of SPi for every core you have.

It's a single-threaded bench. That's why, if you look at the best records, they're predominantly held by dual-cores, which can usually clock higher than the quads.
