I just ran 3dmark06 and got 10660 with stock settings on this new rig of mine. I'll work on pushing my numbers up over the next while and see where I can get this machine up to.

Is that stock CPU and GPU? Seems a little low to me, but i don't think I've ever ran stock.

Default Well over 12000

I got 12359 with an overclock of 3.5Ghz and a slight overclock on my video card to 600/1030. I am attaching a screen shot. By the way, this is a stable overclock...

Nooooo...don't go TT water cooling lol. Get one of the pre configured kits from ncix....I believe they are around $150-$170. just my two cents but I'm sure one of the experts Miso or Patriote will agree.(I think lol) Far better set up for the money.

ya i think he's looking at ease of setup and maintenance free. i've done the water cooling thing back when there was no "self contained" kits. But if i had to do it again i'd opt for one over a "assembly required" kit. If it leaks or breaks it's their **** up not mine.

I can't run 3Dmark06, but I scored something like 2300 in 3DMark05.

^ Seconded....

I'm downloading it now to see what my lame x1900aiw can do before I throw a couple o/c'd x2900xt's into the box in a months time.
Edit, yep the x1900aiw is a major bottleneck right now

this is the best I can do... sometimes if I run it Ill get a higher number, but Ill stick with this one since its the most frequent..... No overclock on the GPU's... just the CPU.
