Sorry for taking this off-topic so this will be my last post in here on the subject.... :)

The build in question was for a complete newb to the computer world and I was leaving the province so I needed a solution that he could easily re-install and set up when/if the need arose. I thought he was going to have to live with the high temps put out by the 3870X2 until I discovered that the ASUS software actually worked as advertised. :)

That's not bad for the 3870 the best I could ever get out of my 2900XT and Q6600 at the same clocks was like 12784 or something like that....and the 3870 was essentially on par and a little higher with the 2900XT only costing half as much.
