Yeah I am happy with the 8800gts for sure. I have the fan set @ 50% with these settings and I am staying below 60deg C. Very Cool. I dont think I have any more clockling left in her though at least not at stock voltages. I am not that familiar with Riva Tuner yet and only know how to use the low level settings. So you never know, I may be able to do better when I learn more. Also I think I have found my CPU limit unless I start playing with voltages. I will post my Bios in my OC thread when I get a chance. Perhaps someone that knows more about OCing can give me a few pointers. Currently Running 3915.2 Mhz with 9x435 giving me a rated FSB of 1740.1 at stock 1.23v and my Ram is 522.0 (1044mhz), 5:6, 5,5,5,12 2T @ 2.0v

this is the best I can do, I have hit my max I think with my card. Until I change the stock cooling. Have the fan running at 100%, and temps are 65C so not bad. I'm happy with the score.

Just curious, when you say "at Stock 1.23v" and not having adjusted Voltages in the same sentence......have you manually adjusted your vCore to 1.23 or is your vCore still set at "Auto"??? 1.23v seems pretty astoundng for 3.9Ghz... Just curious as I'm also new to OC'ing and was originally simply changing my FSB Speed to achieve OC's and leaving Voltages on "Auto", I was promptly advised that this is not the way to do it, as your System will pump all kinds of Voltage to your CPU given the higher FSB.....so....been playing around with trying to tweak the most optimal vCore with the set FSB... Cheers

Well I tried to hit 16*** and managed 16086 with a single 8800gt with the core @ 746 linked. Everything is on air and I dont want to hurt my little baby (QX9650). Probably can squeeze a bit more, when I get my ram back from OCZ and push the CPU and GPU a bit more but in reality probably not much more with this card. ORB - Compare |

Initial run with my new Gigabyte 8800GTS (birthday present... :) ). ORB - Compare 15271 without any OC on the vid card. These come stock @ 700/1674/999. Damn.... gotta learn how to OC a Nvidia card now...... :)
