Cool!


You got 12k with the new RAM but is the 3.8Ghz also a new high? That's a great OC (I'm new to OC but I find it very impressive).

4860 with the c2d on this asrock, but we'll see how much of a difference I can get with a real mobo next week...... :)

Thanks! No- I've actually done 3.84 stable with the old fans- i think if I had some decent ambient temps, i could break 4 with these new panaflos- I reviewed this same processor at 3.84 here.

With my current system I'm not even going to try to run 3DMark06. 3DMark05 brought my rig to her knees.

Are you guys getting a brutal 0 or 1 FPS in the CPU test, part of this benchmark?
I didn't get a 3Dmark result, my new rig is not hooked up to the net yet and 3Dmark06 won't give you a score unless you go on the company's web site or you bought full version...

Yeah- the rendering is done entirely with the CPU for that test- everyone gets ultra-low scores there.
