I've got a Q6600 OC'd @ 3150mhz, 4g pc6400 corsair Twinx RAM, XFX Geforce 8800GTxxx AD 512,on a XFX 680i MOBO I'm gettin 14300 with these settings I OC'd the GPU and got 14769 those are the best STABLE numbers I have gotten so far any tips for goin higher but also stayin stable? I can post the proof if you guys need it. I get 11948 on stock settings.

Broke 15k woohoo 15163 up'd the voltage a little and it became quite a bit more stable, bumped up the GPU timings from 670/975 to 700/1000 and had the CPU 3431mhz hoping with a few more little adjustments i can get at least 15500 maybe 16k

My best score with a q6600 b3 stepping @ 2.8 and an 8800gt is 12444. Not too bad, it does everything I need it too, but if I could only crack 13000, then maybe 13500, then maybe...

Just ran my latest test. Stock for my system was 11100, OC'd my Q6600 to 3.0Ghz and ran 12110. Now after the latest drivers for my XFX8800GTX are installed I hit 13102, not too shabby and I haven't even tried OC'ing the GTX yet.

Q6600 G0 3.0Ghz, 4G OCZ Platinum 5-4-4-15, Gigabyte GaP35-DS3R, Thermalright 120E wFan, XFX8800GTX,WD Raptor, Antec 650WPS in P182B case.

Well i just bought my second XFX Geforce 8800 GT xxx Alpha Dog Edition GPU and have installed in with the SLI bridge that came with my XFX 680i LT MOBO, also just looked into it and I do have the Q6600 G0 SLACR which was a pleasant suprize as i ordered an OEM version of Tigerdirect.ca. I have my CPU OC'd at 3.1Ghz(need a bigger power supply only a 500w)and both the GPU's with the lastest drivers and SLI mode enabled I get 15500 in 3dmark06 running on Vista Home Premium. I think I should be getting higher numbers with and SLI system at least over 16000. I know I need to buy a bigger power supply, but with this increase my proformance enough or is there something else I should be doing. Any helpful tips would be great guys

Have you set the nvidia display settings to performance? Have you overclocked the cards at all?

I have them SLI enabled and when I run 3dmark06 in XP I get 17400ish and in vista with the exact same settings 15400 I will go set the 3d settings to proformance instead of quality but I have it set the same in XP and am getting numbers I like a lot better(I have proof of the numbers in XP and Vista also) I ordered a Antec NeoPower 650 should be here within the week. in vista I get a driver failure nvdblah somethin or other then it recovers. don't seem to have any problems other than not having directx 10 in XP

Sounds right in-line with many reports of a 10 - 20% performance hit running Vista over XP.
