quick, easy question because I trust you guys more than the internet...

So now that I have my 1066 crucial in the 2180 rig it seems happy with a mild OC finally. 2.66 aint much but its something at least...

One question just for peace of mind, is 53C on coretemp ok with Orthos running?

yea, its alright.

How much voltage you putting into that chip Donimo?

donimo January 12, 2009 10:16 PM

stock, 1.325v (cpuz says 1.28v?), I tried before to go over 3.0 in a different rig, wouldn't, but it may have been bad ram (its on RMA now)
I used to have to bump it up to get it to 2.66, now its been 4 hours orthos stable at stock everyhting, only diff is the 1066 ram (1:1 now).

this is in a sonataIII with a katana2 HSF, not cutting edge but 30 idle and 53 load after 4 hours seems ok, its just about 20* higher than my TRUE/900 setup downstairs...

well, 8 hours Orthos stable (then my wife told me she wanted her PC back), so I guess it was the RAM, I bought new stuff while the old is out on RMA, so I guess I will just sell it when it comes in, RMA is great, but it takes too long:haha:

It benches almost the same as my e6750 so I am happy, not bad for a web surfing PC :punk:
