This is my daily use stable clock speed. I have been running at these speeds since august. I can up the voltage and get 4.1 out of this long enough to complete a run of Sandra mem and cpu benches but not a run of 3dmark06. Don't tempt me ;)

Here is my rig:

Wow this is a sweet machine you have there.

Can you provide info on the mobo, bios vcore you use and the ram timing speed?

On that config?

Sure thing.
Specs:
Asus P5K-premium.
q6600 410 fsb, 1.5 vcore.
2x1gb Crucial Ballistix tracer at 2.4volts 1028mhz, 4-4-4-12
8800 gts @ 720/1000
x-fi gamer
g15 and mx1000 kb/mouse
Klipsch pro media ultra 5.1

Swiftech apex ultra plus water cooling kit. D-tek non conductive coolant in UV reactive fire red. I have 2 cold cathode uv tubes and the coolant glows like lava at night. I think that swiftech kit is the best enthusiast computer product I have ever purchased. Aside from the Alpha geek looks of it, dead silent and clocked to the moon is the thing to do. I bought that and the GTS in May for less than a GTX ultra and proceeded to blow the pants off the ultra bechmarks.

I just flashed from the 0204 bios to the 0404 and seem to have dropped some performance too.

Bought those crucial sticks in august with the quad core for the cool led lights, turned out they clock much better than the ocz rev. 2 platinum I had before.

So thats it, no mysteries here, cpu and mem volts, fsb and mem timings are all I've tweaked. Tried playing with all the other settings in the enthusiast bios (cpu pll voltage, transaction booster etc...) and they did nothing but cause instability. The mobo has very stable 8 phase power and is a primo overclocking board though.

But I'm still an Idiot as I thought it was an SLI board when I bought it lol. Might have to play with some crossfire 3870's now.

That's my mobo's FSB limit...without mods. Getting a P35 board soon anyways.
