Not bad for stock.

Now throw a little oc on both the cpu + vid and you should see a nice jump

4850's don't fare well in '06. I only got 13,899 with my E8400@4410/4850@700/1105. Looks good icodeit.

3ghz on a 8400 isn't a overclock.

4ghz on a 8400 is starting to be.

4.1ghz is an overclock ;)

I have to take some time to review the overclock threads and see what I can do. I need it to be stable at the same time as the entire family uses this machine.

I found in prior benchmarks that what held me back was the video, I'm not sure I will see a great gain in numbers if I increase the CPU. But will have to educate myself and test to see what happens.

I will say I'm looking forward to picking up a copy of Fallout 3 tonight and giving it a go!

okay - so after a bad Friday night I'm working off a fresh install. Seems my Seagate Drive is failing, so the new install in on Western Digital Black!

Fresh results after adjusting memory speed. Next is to figure out how to get the CPU performance up.
