Where to buy Dry-Ice?

Hi,

I live in Ottawa and was wondering if anyone knew of any local places where I can buy Dry-Ice.

I am about to make the jump to DICE and need a local supplier of Dry-Ice

try Air Liquide or Praxair. i am assuming you have an Air Liquide in a city as big as Ottawa. but be sure to check both places and any others people list. prices cary very drastically. for dry ice, Praxair charges almost $40 to fill my cooler, the guys at Air Liquide only ask for a ten spot...if that. same thing with LN2, Air Liquide wants $6/L while Praxair sells to me for $1/L or less. it all depends on how much they sell to larger customers and how much they have on hand.

Oh, so Praxair and Air Liquide sell them ? My city have both here and I'll keep this in mind one day when I wanted to play with them.

Yes.Praxair will have it.

You may need to provide Identification and/or/ create an account with Praxair to get it.Last time I got it , it was 1.65 $ per pound , but this will vary based on location and account type.

Praxair will also supply liquid nitrogen , but you need a certified dewar for that.
