Default For you, what constitutes as 'stable'?

Personally, I'd like to make a computer proof for running 24/7.

At this point in time I'd like to pass Memtest on a 12 Hour run, Prime 95 for 12 hour run, and a 2Hour OCCT run to deem an overclock stable.

What are your takes? How do you determine that your overclock is stable, and won't burn out on you after leaving your computer on for two days?
What softwares do you use for stress testing??

Some common ones:
Memtest, Prime 95, SuperPi, OCCT
Any others you have come across that work well?

I'm sure that new overclockers will find the posts in this post handy! Give your thoughts.

2 Hour Orthos Blend here, if it goes for 2 hours I deem it stable for my personal uses, never had an issue stability wise on any of my personal systems when I did that

Personally, Prime 95 Blend 12 hours and OCCT 8 hours. If that doesn't throw up any errors, I'm good to go.

For me, it's 100% stable when it can run Folding@Home 24/7 without errors or crashes. F@H stress more than other synthetic burning software.

Exactly.

A good example is my current system. Everything is solid as hell according to OCCT and Prime. a 24 hour OCCT run SHOULD be stable. But when I fold (boinc), I get errors because it's not actually stable.

I usually do 24 hours of Prime 95 with 8 to 12 OCCT verify. But if I get errors in BOINC I just get mad. lol

In order of testing:

12 hours of INtel Burn Test. Temps must not exceed 75c.

24 hours prime95.

24 hours "gaming test", consisting of looped runs of various games and 3D benchmarks.

1 week FAH without errors.
