Default Will different RAM "play nice" togther in an oc?

My RAM died on me this week and it prompted me to upgrade from a single core S939 and I ordered a new C2D system.

I will be getting an RMA on the RAM and I might just sell 4x512Mb of DDR1 from the RMA (if there is a market for DDR1 anymore) or they will allow me to replace the DDR1 with new DDR2 RAM.

I can RMA for 2 stix of 2x512Mb PC2-8500 or 2x1Gb PC2-6400

On the new C2D order I bought OCZ Flex XLC PC2-6400 CL3-4-4-15.

I'm wondering if it is wise to use different RAM for an OC? I don't imagine I would have any compatability issues at stock but once the voltage and FSB starts to climb I'm wondering if it is, in general, that the RAM doesn't "play nice" together?

So basically you want to run the kit your ordered and the one you'll get back from RMA ? I don't think it'll do anything good if your looking to Oc your C2D system. Oh and by-the-way, can we get the list of all the other components you will get with those Ram kits ?

Sure thing. I just ordered it Thursday and payment still needs to process = I hope it arrives late this week.

New stuff:
Corsair 620watt PSU
ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus 650i
E6600
Scythe Ninja Plus REV.B
OCZ Flex XLC PC2-6400 CL3-4-4-15
EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800 GTS 320MB
ASUS DRW-1814BLT Black SATA DVD+RW 18X8X18 DL 8X Lightscribe Retail Box
Samsung SyncMaster 226BW 22IN Widescreen LCD Black 1680X1050 3000:1 2MS

Migrating from old rig:
Thermaltake Armor case
2x36Gb Raptor in RAID
300Gb Seagate

I think it's a solid build. (on a budget)
I'm a bit worried about the monitor as there is very little information/reviews I could find on it...

Hell thats a super Monitor! I bought a Samsung 19" 1000:1 2ms for my mom's new set-up this winter and OMG i was amazed by the quality. It was even better than my VX924 ... Which i paid 500$ ... and i paid 250$ for the Samsung. I think you made a good choice!

Yeah that'll be a great build for sure! Have fun!
