Although, i would have to say, if a game came on a blu ray disc, its prolly like umm, a really in depth story line. Cant figutre out waht it would be coz, they all involve half baked idears, and guns. Oh and bullets, usually more bullets than guns though. And more guns than characters. And lots of med packs, and ummm, doors, elevators, hmm, oh, and did I mention about 25 GB of all that?

They won't put games on Blu-Ray for PC, they will go either Direct Download or give a USB stick with the game on it

well just bought this http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...s&promoid=1015 157 after taxes and shipping. Not bad for a player that can do blue ray and even HD DVD but I don't think I will use HD DVD.

When Blu-Ray burners hit the $150-$200 mark, I'll buy one so i can back up photos and data onto Blu-Ray. Even if a 25gb disc is still $7.99 when the burners come down to $150-$200. I'd rather backup my photography on disc than on hard drive. And having less disc's to worry about is a big plus for me. But this is just my personal preference. I already have a PS3 to watch Blu-Ray on my big tv. So until PC players hit $40-$50 i will hold out.

Doesn't sound like a lot but if your dealing in volume the savings of going with optical are pretty substantial. BTW love your avatar!

I wish I could remember where I saw it but LG is releasing a BR burner for something like $200. It doesn't support HD DVD anymore but at that price who cares.
