Default DVD problem

So I have a fairly new Lite ON DVD drive with lightscribe, its a very good drive with the fastest speeds you can get. So I tend to burn a lot of movies on dvd and then watch them later. A couple of nights ago I put in one of my burnt DVD's and the computer didnt recognize anything was put in. When I went into my computer it just said the drive was empty. I heard the drive spin a little but still nothing. I tried this with most of my cd's and still nothing. Then I tried a cd That was bought from a store and that one works. So then I thouht it might have been my cds so I tried them in my other computers and they worked. So does anyone have any ideas. Oh I can still burn the DVD's as well.
