I am no noob. I have formatted several times even when installing Vista. My ram and HDD are fine. Using XP. Also this has happened on both my old PC and my new one. Don't know what is wrong. The only think I can think of and the only thing that hasn't changed is the network adapter. So many Vista has a problem with that. May change that.
