Default will this work

I have an eVGA 750i motherboard..
I have since bought a ATI 4850 Videocard..
I am going to buy another one.
Now Can I just start the setup of the chipset driver install, then It will ask which to install or uncheck to not install will unchecking all the drivers uninstall them..
Then can I do the same to a Asus P5K-C motherboard which my son is using..
Then swap out boards and use current HD's with Windows installed but no motherboard drivers installed..
Then when I power up new board I can then install proper motherboard drivers..
I want to swap motherboards without reinstalling Windows twice..
I will also unistall sound and video drivers as well..

Installing a motherboard with a different chipset is never recommened.
It CAN be done, but usually ends up REAL messy in the end.

I would highly recommend formatting and doing a fresh install instead of macgyvering an existing install to fit new hardware.
