Question what's a good cheap & easy remote webcam viewing solution?

I want to setup a cam to check on my sump pump at home while I'm away, how would I do it?

if you have power and a reliable WiFi signal there, there are a number of options in the $100 USD range.

I've done something similar to monitor a thermostat while I was away. I had good experiences with a Foscam IP camera bought from Amazon. The particular model I had isn't there anymore but they seem to have a few other relatively affordable options.

For remote access you can get a free dynamic DNS account from a service like No-IP (or you can skip that if you already have a static IP.) After that you can remotely view the camera from a web address or a phone app.
