Default Sourceforge making amends?

Couldn't find the original thread linking their bad behaviour of not only wrapping open source software in their own installers but also going so far as to commandeer the admin rights to inactive accounts (usually ones that the authors had abandoned because of the malvertising) so I'll just create a new one....

Under new management, SourceForge moves to put badness in past | Ars Technica

Anybody in the know about this?? Does it appear that they are really making an effort to clean up their act?

That article is the first I have read about them trying to clean up. So I guess time will tell.

I haven't seen the bundled malware in Filezilla's SourceForge download for a while, so it may be true.
