Default Recommend me some disk wipe software

I'm selling off 2 old drives and I wanna wipe them first, any recommendations (freeware)?

Never mind, I remembered the thread in the for sale section

And it turns out my copy of Acronis can do what I need anyway..
All's well that's Haswell

Boot a linux ubuntu DVD disk or USB.

At the terminal

find out which disk you want to wipe with:

fdisk -l

Let's say it's /dev/sdd

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdd

Be careful with this, you don't want to make a typo here. If you are unsure disconnect your old hard disks before proceeding.

It may take a while.
