Default XMBCbuntu ISO download?

Heh.... I wanted to give this a try on an atom system I've got kicking around but for the life of me can't find the ISO for either the live CD or the full install......

I've been here ( HOW-TO:Install XBMC for Linux - XBMC ) and here ( XBMCbuntu - XBMC ) but they both seem to lead me in circles referring to each other without providing a link to a distro ISO....

Am I missing something?

edit: Heh... NVM, I found it. have to select the XMBCbuntu icon as opposed to the Linux one... :)

Depending on your needs I honestly tried and tried to get XBMC working for Linux and it was a royal pain in in the ass.

In the end I just went back to Windows and been much happier. Then again I have blu-ray discs I like to watch and Linux can't playback blu-ray.

I'm trying to re-purpose the atom Mini-PC and was hoping to attach it to the back of a 19" (sq) monitor as a media player / center for a bit of play and then eventually low price sale.... that said, I've got a couple of legit XP COAs still kicking around so I might throw that on instead and then I'd be able to bundle the USB ATI TV tuner I've got kicking around as well....

Mostly just wanted to play with it to see what it's like and if it likes / picks up the hardware from the intel atom MB.

Well it won't be XBMC doing the hardware pickup it would be the *buntu distribution doing that. With that said it should detect the hardware fine.

I had no issues with just regular old Ubuntu 13.04 with XBMC on my HTPC. I just grabbed it from the software centre I believe...changed pretty much nothing else. Easiest setup I have done.

I didn't care for the xbmcuntu it is just ubuntu and xbmc. I think there are better media setups out there for linux I was playing around with it in VB and well it sucked but it could have been becasue it was being virtually used. I was trying to get it to load up right into XBMC but it never did.
maybe look into mythtv , I really wished I could remember the setup I had a while back when I was pure linux setup

Ended up going with XP Home as I had both a legit COA as well as XP drivers for the old ATI TV Wonder USB2 tuner I had kicking around. Drivers (and tuner program) worked fine, but the guide is no longer active so there would be no ability to record live TV so I'm going to give Media Portal a try.

Should be interesting either way.... Atom N270 mini-pc with a custom mount attached to the back of a 19" square benq LCD.

edit: Bah... no go, the tv card doesn't appear to be supported. Going to look for a different XP TV player.
