Default Easy fix for win7 image printing default problems?

Does anybody know of a quick fix to get rid of the bloody windows 7 image printing "app"? I can print documents fine, and test pages work as well, but as soon as any form of image is selected for print it defaults to that freaking windows "print a picture" screen which as far as I know has never bloody well worked.

Is there something simple I'm missing to be able to get programs to use the default printer drivers rather than the abortion that is windows7 image printing?

Hrm..... I've got it to at least work by removing the printer drivers / software and relying on windows to treat it as a network printer..........

It's using the PCL6 drivers as opposed to the manufacturer's drivers. That's not a solution though... I don't think the problem is with the Samsung drivers I'm thinking that it's with the windows photo printing setup.

Setting the printer as default has absolutely nothing to do with my problem. The issue is that windows defaults to using it's own image viewing program for both viewing and printing of all images rather than letting programs work with the native printer drivers directly.

As it stands, it's now working using the stock windows drivers and it looks like I've got the most important settings still available, however it's not the full slate of options I'm used to seeing from the actual Samsung drivers.

What is? A way to stop windows from defaulting to WIV for images?
