keyboard not working with webmail??

this is really strange and i have never seen this till now.
this happens with,yahoo or gmail and either on firefox or chrome.

i sign in fine with keyboard,click on contacts to bring up who i want to send message to and nothing happens when pressing keyboard
i cannot even manually type in the address,cannot type in anything whatsoever.

really weird and it has me stumped
hopefully someone else has seen this cause i am baffled

Never heard of this try a different key board and see if the problem still occurs

turned computer on this morning and it is working now!.
