Alternatives to Camtasia
 
I tried "Camstudio", and one other capture program, but it's just not the same.

Camtasia 6 was good and Camtasia 8 is even better.

Just as there are good open-source alternatives for many other premium programs (with premium prices) ... GIMP instead of Photoshop comes to mind ... is there a good open-source alternative to Camtasia ?

Running on Windows 7 64 bit.

It would be a bonus if whatever program, also ran on XP64 or Vista 32, but I can adapt, especially for a good program like GIMP or Blender.

Blender does a lot of stuff (video editing) but it doesn't do screen capture - yet.
