My System Specs

Default Which driver first ??

I will be installing a fresh W7 on a used SONY laptop I just bought for my niece. But Sony has tons of drivers (over 30) on their sites for this laptop.

My question is, is there a sequence for driver installation ??

I'm guessing, clear CMOS, install OS then drivers: Video card- Bios- Chipset and the rest shouldn't matter.

Is that right ??

order shouldn't really matter. I typically start off with chipset first....

Doesn't really make a difference. I personally try and get the video down first because I can't stand 800x600 or whatever resolution it lets you have. I download all the drivers at the same time and install them as they each finish.

Thanks guys,

Hopefully the tag# will give me less drivers to install.
