Dual boot not working...

I first installed windows 7 on my ssd. I partitioned about 75 GB for it, everything worked perfect. I just installed linux mint using an iso image on a DVD. I chose the first "easy" option (install linux next to windows), and the installation seemed to go fine.

I rebooted, changed the boot order back to my SSD, and windows started up.

Tried again, and again windows booted up. I'm not being given the option to choose between linux and windows...what did I screw up this time?

Got it working by running boot_repair off of the Mint Live disk. Now I just have to figure out how to make Win7 the first priority in boot order.

Assuming it's GRUB2: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Gr...iguring_GRUB_2
You need to reconfigure GRUB_DEFAULT

There's probably some GUI application to do this for you as well, but I just edit the config file.

GrubConf - GRUB Graphical Configuration Editor
