browser cache location for SSD? I followed the tutorial in the Storage forum about moving firefox's cach location, but I still like using Chrome, have you guys had success using Chrome with an SSD (assuming you install to the SSD drive) and moving Chrome's cache file, and if so, how? |

Thanks, but what a pain, surely Chrome will allow this in settings soon I hope! I suppose installing to a non SSD drive will do it but negate the benefits of the ssd then. |
stick it on that free ram drive AMD re-badged???? |
http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!searchin/chrome/chrome$20cache$20ssd/chrome/rkXAt47LoEI/-1IIadUyVr4J Damn Google discussion, anyway it's from 2010, starting out that it's ok to run the cache file on the SSD boot drive, as in default install location. Think that's still the case? Then I found this TweakScene.com • View topic - Move Chrome or Chromium cache to different hard disk So now I'm confused. |
