++ to Linux Mint. Its a derivative of Ubuntu, but without all the gnu restrictions - it does bundle a bunch of codecs and driver binaries with the install dvd.

I love the YUMI! YUMI - Multiboot USB Creator (Windows) | USB Pen Drive Linux . I've been playing with it a bunch today. Threw a bunch of different Ubuntu distros on it to test out, and Memtest and HIREN Ultimate Boot CD's for PC testing tools too. Great all in 1 USB solution!

+1 For YUMI. The only thing I use for getting OS's onto my USB's.
