MSI Afterburner/OSD Recording Help

This is going to sound like the dumbest question ever but how in the world do you get MSI afterburner/on screen display server to start/stop recording.
Trying to record in browser like chrome. I can get the OSD to show up and when I hit the record button it has the spinning dots that normally show that it's recording but I can't for the life of me get it to stop and save the video. It works fine in games but in chrome or even firefox, it just doesn't work properly
