My System Specs

Default SSD upgrade issue

I have a Acer Aspire Timeline X 3830TG-6412

Core i3 2310
8GB DDR3 1333MHz
Nvidia GT540M

Upgraded the RAM from 4GB to 8GB and now I want to put an SSD in and use the 750GB externally for media. No matter what I do I can't install windows. Newest BIOS version and the SSD is listed in the BIOS. It seems to be needing that "floppy SATA" driver, I tried the 2 off the OEM's site. No luck.

Chipset is Mobile Intel® HM65 Express Chipset

HELP!!

Yes the drive has been tested in 2 other machines and SSD program says 100% healthy.

Tried installing the driver during install by flash drive, and I'm installing windows by flash drive. It has no CD-ROM or floppy obviously..
