Heh.... I haven't figured out how to "select all" my gmail (I've been using pop) to mark them as read..... think I'll hold off a bit before I start mucking about with the operating system / firmware..... ;)

Is there a windows program which allows me to do file management on the nexus from the PC?

AFAIK there is not. There should be check boxes by all the emails, then hit the read button. I use the email app though, not gmail.

Android sync manager allows you to upload music/videos etc though over wifi.

yeah there's check boxes but I have over a thousand unread Gmail messages because I've been using a pop server :-)

on top of that the voice recognition is pretty cool being able to just speak and have it types what I'm saying is pretty cool.

Just plug a USB cable in and you can see the files normally.

GoSMS was good till they started to spam your inbox full of junk and have to add them to a blocked list.
