All that work figuring out how to split the partition, and Xubuntu will do it for you during install.

Installed Xubuntu 8.04 beta last night, very easy. Apparently 7.10 has problems with the 8800GT (too new) which is why I couldn't get that working.

So, boot CD, run install, move slider to size partition, press go, and bam! Multiboot system installed.
