Default So... Whos installing Windows 8 today?

I wont be, too busy with school but this weekend I might boot up a VM and give it a go. Hopefully they wont have butchered the desktop like I think they have.

Haven't been following Win 8 development much, does it actually have the long rumoured support to run 360 games on it?

I'm excited for it, but if companies want me to beta test their software, they need to pay me for it.

I look forward to other people testing it for me to ensure a good RTM build. :)

I hadn't seen that rumour, but that's not happening.

From my perspective, the big improvements:

From my perspective:

Live ID / Skydrive Integration
Better multimonitor support (taskbar across multiple monitors, different wallpapers)
Improved UI for menus and Explorer
Build-in support for mounting disc images
Improved task manager

I only just adopted Win7 in October of last year. I don't think I'm going to be an early adopter of Win8.

Yup. Same here. I intend to use Win 7 for the foreseeable future.

I don't see a need yet to Go Win8. 7 has done more than enough for me.

Only every 3rd OS is worth picking up, not going to live with a lemon OS for years again like I did with vista 32 bit.

Think that's bad? My parents were living with Windows ME until a few months ago.

I see no need to beta test, but I am interested in installing it on my Acer Win7 tablet to see what improvements they've made.
