My System Specs

Default is it linux ati driver problem or the Card itself

I can't really tell I am playing a game called planeshift in Linux Ubuntu 64 bit I had one hell of a time installing those ATI drivers for my HIS HD 3870 ice card now in game it kind of flickers likwe there is some type of interfernce so I am not if it isthe new card or is it Linux or the drivers is there a way to check which it could be?

I didn't have much luck getting the ATI drivers to play nice with my 1950pro so that would be my first guess.

Only way to know for sure would be to do a temporary XP install and see how that works for you.
