I didn't see anything in the notes regarding the dx11 stuttering issues in Arkham City.

Maybe this will make BF3 work.

This is about the extent to my troubleshooting that piece of shit now. Way too many hours invested at this point.

Are you running the steam version? I've been hearing rumours that the version that steam got was actually the wrong build, hence why all the DX11 issues. I have the origin version (haven't installed it yet), but I have also been hearing a lot of people without the steam version having no DX11 issues (aka either Disk or another online distributor)

Yeah, I'm using the steam version. Its fairly choppy with the dx11 features enabled. The 290 drivers didn't help so I just disabled the dx11 features.

That's the 3rd game i've heard of having issues with Steam, after Witcher 2 (patching problems) and LA Noire. Really making me rethink my library.

All of these issues aren't steam issues, per-say.

It's the developers that release these trial builds and send them to the steam servers that are the issue.
Maybe it has to do with something steam requires from them, I'm not sure.

Just thought I should drop a note to let everyone know that simply installing these new drivers completely eliminated my mouse lag... for now.

I know it was mouse lag because if I managed to navigate to a heli I could operate it just fine via joystick with zero stuttering or lag.

Anyway, played a round last night and it's more or less working as well as it did.

Seems Dice patches, shit doesn't work, then Nvidia patches and makes it work, rinse and repeat. I'm not blaming Dice necessarily, but......

Ah, because I've put in a good few hours last night on DX11 features enabled with no choppiness whatosever. I however have the Origin version as they had it on sale for 50% off on the Black Friday weekend deals.

Who knows, but all I know is steam is having these issues only, whereas Origin or D2D are not.
