Any good, free email software that supports IMAP?
 

Thunderdud is really starting to piss me off :angry2:

I've used Thunderbird lots with IMAP and never had a issue.

My fresh install of Thunderdud is borked, if I have it open and move any window, it opens blank write window that you can't close.

Thunderbird works just fine for me.

Thunderbird is basically the only "good" option for Windows that I know of...

You could try Windows Live Mail.

If you won't miss any archived mail or stored passwords you can't remember, try deleting your profile folder under: \AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird
That usually gets Thunderbird working again for me.

I've used Windows Live Mail and Thunderbird, and WLM is really slow with IMAP. It takes a good 2-5 seconds on each folder when you check for messages, which adds up if you have many folders.

Thunderbird works fantastic for me. maybe your windows is borked?

you could always try evolution for windows.

I have to run 3.1 something or other because our AV doesn't have a plugin for the newer versions yet.

All this grief because they're too cheap to pay for the Exchange licenses...
