You either like it or you don't.

I don't and its the people like myself that are hoping XP stays around A LOT longer.

You are probably fine till Windows 7 with XP. Then maybe you might want to upgrade. I am not going out of my way to put Vista on my desktop yet. Maybe dual boot with x64 but I am in no hurry. However it came with my lappy and after a reformat and tweaking it is ok. Out of the box it was pretty crazy. XP and OS X are much better for right out of the box or non-tweakers IMHO.

I have so much disdain for vista that i signed a petition to keep XP alive. I have tried vistaon many occions and come to the following conclusion. Vista is a 64bit version of Windows Mellenium. Personally i am going to wait for Windows 7.

Microsoft to give XP stay of execution?for budget laptops
To me this is an admittance that Vista is a resource sucking waste of an OS.

it's like the a scene from a jackass show i am paraphrasing.

"Would all the vista users please raise your hands" hands go up "your a bunch of Wankers" j/k didn't actually want to offend anyone.
