login other computer on network

i am not sure how to explain ...

its very annoying to enter the login every time i open other computer from my network after reboot the computer... "remember my credentials" doesnt work...

i tried to take a look at credential manager... and i was like huh ... nothing is there that i can do something...

do you know how to make it remember at WHOLE time like i did at vista and xp... not every boot...

I believe CTA is referring to mapped drives (or network shares) requiring credentials each time.

Unfortunately that's just a "flaw" in Windows that I know of. I've never found a solution either. The best is just to have the same local accounts and passwords on all the computers, then you won't run into this issue.

Alternatively, you could change your sharing settings to "Everyone" which may work too.

I have mapped drives that have different credentials and they do not prompt me.

We you got to map the drive make sure the reconnect at logon is checked and also the connect using different credentials. Then enter the path and it will prompt you for the alternate credentials. After that you should be good, at least it is with me.

anyway i solve the problem...

since i have two computer that had exactly same username and password...

window7 misunderstood the information... so i go to credentials manager and add the correct information... then i test it and it works... no more stupid prompts...
