Default Search software

Does anyone have or know of any software that can search for a file better then the wndows explorer built in search? Even one that can search by file type would be better, I basically need one to search through my movie collection faster the explorer.exe can :)

Copernic is good. I don't use it much for videos though.

Run a media-center-esque software? Like MediaPortal or XBMC. It'll catalog all your movies and pull fanart and descriptions automatically.

It's not just that, It's just wanting to make sure I don't have duplicates of the movie and such, I still need to rename everything for XBMC so it goes like,

bob (2011)

right now they still all just have scene tags on them from usenet so that's no fun, newsbin would be so much better if it even renamed the file haha...
