Default HP Pavilion Laptop (stuck on "GPRS CARD-B" Driver..)

Hey guys.

Working on someone's laptop right now. An HP Pavilion ze2000 (ze2205AU to be exact).
I am stucking trying to install the wireless drivers for this laptop (I believe it is the wireless card)

In Device Manager, it says "GPRS CARD" (I think.)
I've tried using halfdone's UKD (Unknown Devices) and it gives me "GPRS-CARD-B-BC9B" as the hardware ID.

Now I've tried installing all (3 of them) possible Wireless Lan drivers from the HP website for this laptop, but they do not seem to work. (Two are Broadcom, one is an Intel Wireless Pro)

I'm absolutely stumped as I cannot find any information regarding this wireless card, or how to find drivers for it.

I believe he purchased the laptop from china about 3-4 years back, and hasn't had the wireless working for a while now.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried the HP wireless assistant? Look under network drivers.

nuke all the drivers you tried to install, LAN the laptop to the internet, use windows update.

I had some POS toshiba satellites that needed the same treatment.

Hey guys.

Looks like someone had removed the wireless card from the laptop at some point in the past.
The GPRS CARD-B was from an old card he used back overseas. (GSM Sim-Card'd network card)

Oh well.

Thanks for the help!
