Cannot install Office2010 need help....

Here my problem.

I have try to install office 2007 32 bits on my Seven64. Install have crash. (error from the Dvd).
I pickup a OFFICE 2010 SELECT EDITION RTM X64.DVD from the work and i try to install it and it told me that i have already a 32bits version that i need to remove. I have remove it before trying to install the x64 version. I do have run Ccleaner and still have the same error. Anyone have some tips/help ?!

System restore to a point prior to your attempt at installing office 2007?

I solve my prob. Doing a restore didn't work.
I have decide to run XP in the wdinows Virtualisation (how spelling the word LoL) and then install my old version of office.... thx guysw !

If you follow this you should be able to install Office 2010 64bit.

How to manually uninstall the 2007 Office system if you cannot uninstall it by using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature

That will walk you through a manual removal of office 2007.

FYI Microsoft recommends everyone installs 32 bit unless you have a need for Excel spreadsheets bigger then 2 GB's or some other crazy thing.
