Default Disk image backup + restore on media free?

Is there a program that can make an image of an entire partition on bootable media for restoring later? For free? Looked for a while, can't find one.

Sorry, have not come across any freebie backup programs that can do bare metal restore, closest is bundled software with some USB enclosures.

Acronis WD Edition as gingerbee mentioned will do it for you for free as you have a WD drive.
WD Support

It is a scaled down version of the Acronis Home version. Will do a full backup, but no incremental.

Scanned through WD Digital edition Acronis but didn't think it would work as it just wanted a location on a different partition/drive to create the backup but maybe selecting blank media in the odd is all it takes to get started.
I ended up using Win 7's backup tool, as I did not know it had it till now..
Thanks ging and chris
