My System Specs

Default Ubuntu 9.10 XP (Ylmf Linux XP)

Hi, i just don't know where i can post that, if this is not the right place, please, Admin, do whatever

Ylmf Operating System
Some enterprising Chinese developers/hackers have come up with a solution for those who want the look and feel of Windows XP, but can’t or won’t pay Microsoft the license fee. What they have done is modify Ubuntu 9.10 and re-skinned it to look just like Windows XP.
# Based on Ubuntu 9.10
# OpenOffice suite 3.1
# Classic Windows XP UI
# Run Windows apps with Wine
# Totem movie player & Rhythmbox music player
# Firefox web browser

I still have the chinese or japanese (or whatever asian language) version laying around in my file server when I first saw that announced a few months back.

IMO instead of screwing around with something like that just looks like windows but still is linux based, just use debian instead.

If you -somehow- have an emotional bond to the windows interface, well just install windows or get reactos.
