If you are still using WIN Explorer 6 or 7 Upgrade to 8 (Register.com )

If you have eather Windows Exlorer 6 or 7 on your machine you should Upgrade to Windows Explorer 8 Even if you are not useing it as your defaault browser. There are major hacks and exploites that are going around 6 and 7 are un pached and vulnrable. 8 is golden fore the moment or harder to hack.

IE 6 lmao. I think some people are still on it at my work.

I stopped bothering with compliance in my code when 8 finally released. I still get the oddball email from someone within the organization telling me a page is broken. I tell them their browser is broken and they need to call IT. :bleh:

I think my whole workplace is IE6. And that's NEW for most of the PCs. We were running on 1989 IBM terminals (I believe) since the place opened, until a couple weeks ago.

Nothing is immune.

There are just degrees of protection.

The problem is that some companies are too lazy to make their webpages work properly in newer versions of IE, which is why they haven't upgraded in so long. THEY'RE LAZY.

When I worked at London Hydro, their computers barely had any of the security updates installed. They thought that if nothing was going wrong, then they wouldn't have to update it, until we received an email saying that some of our data had been compromised...

Then again there's always death_hawk, who --I believe-- is still on IE6 as well because he hates tabs and the layout... :)
