Hrmmmm.... I'll have to give it a try in paint.net. I've been using paint.net for years, but had been using a different program for resizing just because it was the program I normally used for selective screen caps. Maybe I just need to do a full screen cap and then cut/resize using paint.net. It's also been a while since I looked at Gimp. I started using paint.net because I found the (then) version of gimp I'd tried to be a bit unwieldy for general usage. Maybe it's time for a second look. (That was at least 4 years ago).
