My System Specs

Default Office 2007 printing issue

Hello,

My father is experiencing some problems when trying to print his Excel documents. Its rather minor, but it annoys him and it shouldn't be that way.

Basicly he wants 2 copies of the same document, so he goes to select to print 2 copies; however, when printing, it always only prints 1. I am clueless as to what that may be and unsure of what I should search to find similar issues. His system is running Win 7, the printer is an HP 3015 (if that matters).

Thanks for the help

I know zero about Excel, but I know HP printers. When you say your dad "selects to print two copies" I will assume he does that through the Excel interface, and not the HP print menu. The HP software would then over-ride or ignore Excel's instructions and print just one copy by default. If that is the case, your dad would need to select "print two copies" from the HP print preview menu. All purely speculation, but a year supporting HP printers on the phone taught me that their print drivers aren't always very user-friendly.

I can not find a single thing good to say about HP. they was the first to install crapware in New PC, stupid desktop icon to purchase more of their stuff added after every HP accessory install. We don't need a DVD to install a printer driver my xerox need only a 11.3 kb files as drivers and no F**** crap on my desktop

Well there were no drivers installed since Win 7 detected the printer and it was all functionnal aside from that. Now, I tried to install HP drivers with no success aside from more junk on the computer. The problem remains.

I also went into the printer properties and even if I changed the number of copies to 2, the number of copies were still 1.
