which version of windows 7 going to put that technet subscription to use again. i need to know if windows 7 home premium will work on a laptop? the laptop is 6 months old. nothing special but not a brick either. would windows 7 home premium do? thx for advice rob123 |
with the detail you give us it's a guess you gone have.... for an advice some spec will be necessary |
Home Premium would probably be plenty for your laptop and your needs....IF you dont have any Ultimate keys left. This also assumes you dont need bitlocker, ability to join domains (still can use HomeGroup ofcourse!), advanced backups (Acronis is better anyways), multi language support or need XP mode (I prefer VMware personally). Here is a decent chart for dif options you lose out on w/ HP vs Pro vs Ultimate :) Which one is right for you? - Microsoft Windows |
IF you do a simple use of your laptop (which is mostly the case), Home Premium is allright. I have it for my gaming PC and i never regreted it yet. |
I have Windows 7 Home Premium running on my 3 year old Acer Aspire 5601. It's all good and actually faster than XP. |
thx for the answers. windows 7 home premium it is rob123 |
