My System Specs

Default

Also remember you probably have your page file on there. Also installing updates on a running OS, especially service packs, leaves behind a bunch of "extra" files. Such as all the things needed to uninstall the updates/service pack.

On a nearly clean Vista SP2 x64 Ultimate install, I'm seeing 13.6GB. However this is using my custom ISO that has SP2 and all the updates up to September integrated on it. And it has a 1.3GB page file and about 1GB in programs that I've installed.
