uTorrent 2.1 Alpha

Some improvements on the connectivity side of things in uTorrent, the new 2.0 + versions (now in beta) have made quite an improvement from what I've seen so far.

I can (or my brother) download things (legal things of course) without having much impact on the speed of regular browsing.. before it would really slow things down..

So it's pretty much bringing throttling client-side instead of ISP-side.

Somewhat...I don't really notice much torrent speed difference though... I guess with earlier versions of utorrent, they were too much of a connection "hog"... now it's a little loosened up, giving more freedom for other applications that require an internet connection.. I don't really see what this is going to do for bandwidth usage (which is why ISPs would throttle or so they say).. but hey.. as long as it's helping my browsing speed while I torrent, I'm all for it.
